NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING BETTER.
IT'S ABOUT GOING DEEPER
hola!
My name is Tabetha, a California
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #116577.
I am passionate about working with BIPOC from all backgrounds experiencing distress in their personal, professional, and/or school life. Providing a safe, secure, and affirmative environment is of upmost importance to me. My desire is that you feel seen, heard, and accepted. I believe that every human, including myself, is beautifully imperfect. That your unique experiences have molded you into the matchless person you are. You are the expert of your life. I provide the support and guidance and together, we will work towards accomplishing your goals.
YOU ARE ENOUGH
Exactly as you are. Even when the world tells you otherwise. Even when you tell you otherwise. Therapy isn’t a process that seeks to make you better, different, or more enough. Therapy is a process that leads you inside yourself, with the destination being increased understanding and acceptance. Therapy will support your ability to recognize yourself as perfectly imperfect, deeply human, and inherently whole.
BIPOC + Intersecting Identities
Historically, therapy has not been a safe place for BIPOC with intersecting identities. I strive to create an inclusive space that understands the impact of existing within oppressive systems and celebrates marginalized identities by centering your needs. You are worthy of a space that is empowering, promotes healing, and provides safety.
Therapy for Therapists
Navigating the complexities and demands of the mental health field can leave therapists feeling gaslighted, doubtful, and ultimately, burnt out. If you are a therapist feeling fatigued, overwhelmed, and confused, I want to meet you where you are, understand your individual needs, and collaborate with you on your treatment. I will hold space for you to reflect and process your experiences as well as help you gain clarity and be reacquainted with your passion.
Spiritual Deconstruction
Deconstructing is disorienting, fear provoking and lonely. My deepest desire is to provide you with a safe space where you can explore and challenge your beliefs without fear and without shame. I want to help you identify and embody your authentic self and help you redefine what you want your faith to be.
