NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
hola!
I'M TABETHA
my pronouns are she/her/ella. I am a child of immigrants, a first-generation Latina and a licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about helping individuals gain clarity and find peace in their authenticity.
MY EXPERIENCES...
have inspired me to specialize my work with first and second generation Latine and BIPOC identifying folx with intersecting and marginalized identities. I also dedicate my work towards supporting up-and-coming therapists and seasoned therapists and I champion individuals deconstructing their religious beliefs. I welcome people from all walks of life and identities.
EDUCATION
I earned my Bachelor of Art in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino and my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. I gained my clinical experience from various ventures including community mental health working with children and families, psychiatric hospitals and detention centers providing individual and group services to folx with high mental health needs, and with local group practices providing individual therapy to adults seeking to address their symptoms of anxiety and depression, life/work/school stress, self-esteem concerns, and relationship and family conflicts. I have also completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training.
MY INTENTION...
is to provide you with a safe, secure, and accepting environment. I want to honor your vulnerability as you share your lived experience and help you cultivate self-awareness, inner-strength, self-love, and achieve self-actualization. I understand that every experience, emotion, and situation is unique to you, therefore I will tailor evidence-based modalities and wellness practices to meet your needs. It would be an honor to support you through this journey.
